Manage the Delivery of Your Purchases. - Nearly all shipping companies (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) provide a mechanism whereby online shoppers can manage the delivery of online purchases. While not all shipping companies provide the same capabilities, some of the services they provide include but are not limited to.. email notification of delivery and delivery delays; customize delivery times, remotely signing for deliveries, request delivery at another address, and vacation holds.
Online shoppers must first register with each shipping company to manage the online purchases that are shipped with that company. Some shipping companies also provide a smartphone app making using their service very convenient.
Free Shipping. - We offer FREE SHIPPING on a variety of products to the continental 48 states. When you choose FREE SHIPPING, you acknowledge we will use the most economical shipping method (since we are paying for it.) This means we may use USPS, UPS or FedEx at our discretion. If a PO Box is provided for a ship-to address, we may use FedEx SmartPost or UPS SurePost economy shipping services. Clearance and heavily-discounted items are typically excluded from free shipping.
Freedom to Choose. - Aside from the free shipping, buyers may choose any ship method offered at checkout.
We Ship Fast! - Orders (with cleared payment) received Monday - Friday before Noon CST are shipped the same day. Otherwise, your purchase will ship the following business day. Items shipped from the manufacture may require an extra 2 to 5 days for added processing, however, we will apprise you of this delay.
Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, and US Territories/Protectorates. - Shipping costs to these locations vary greatly and can be very expensive. If you have any questions regarding shipping to your location, please ask!
International Buyers. - We welcome international buyers. However, international shipping costs can get quite expensive, and it's not always reliable depending on the shipping service you choose, and, quite honestly, the level of corruption in the customs service of the importing country. Not all shipping methods include insurance and shipments to some countries cannot receive any insurance, at all. This list varies frequently, and we never know which countries are "insurable", so to speak, and which are not. One moment, we can insure packages to country "X" and a few days later we cannot. It's that unpredictable. However, buyers should have an idea of whether the importation of goods to your country is reliable, aside from package insure-ability. As such, international buyers assume all responsibility for package delivery. Once we ship your item, it's out of our hands and beyond our control.
Additionally, international buyers assume responsibility to pay all import duties imposed by your country's customs service, and any brokerage fees imposed by the shipping companies. Import duties and brokerage fees vary by country and shipping company; unfortunately, we cannot advise you on either as we have no knowledge in these two areas.
We highly recommend choosing a shipping method which includes reliable and responsive tracking. Our experience has shown that both UPS and FedEx have reliable tracking, but are very costly. USPS Express Mail International is a 3 to 5 business day service (to the importing country's custom service) and tends to be the good compromise between speed and cost, and is our recommended international shipping method. USPS Priority Mail International is a 6 to 10 business day service (to the importing country's custom service) and has good tracking till the package departs the USA, and very, very slow updates thereafter...as in, the tracking is not updated for several days for each step along the packages journey. USPS First Class International (the most economical; not recommended; may take 30 to 45 days, or longer, to be received by the importing country's custom's service) has good tracking till the package departs the USA, but receives no updates afterwards.
Local Pick-up. - Local pick-up is available for items purchased online. We are a full-service western wear store located between the cities of Magnolia, Tomball and The Woodlands, approximately 40 miles north of Houston, Texas. Simply use our address (30405 Dobbin Hufsmith Rd. Magnolia, Texas 77354) as your Ship-To address, and we will email you when your item is ready for pickup.
Ariat Footwear & Apparel. - Please note we are unable to ship Ariat footwear, jeans and shirts to locations outside of the United States. We can ship worldwide all Ariat caps, wallets, belts and socks.
What is "Standard Shipping"? - We use "Standard Shipping" to signify our basic, most economical ship method. Typically, this is USPS First Class for items weighing 15.9 oz. or less, and UPS SurePost for items weighing 1 pound or more. Both services have a 1 to 4 or 5 day transit time for destinations in the contiguous 48 states. The further you live away from Magnolia, Texas, and the more rural your area, the longer the transit time.
How will I know when my item shipped? - Our system will send you tracking information immediately after a shipping label is created.
When will my order ship? - We ship Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed before noon CST will ship the same day. Order placed after noon CST will ship the following business day. Orders placed on the weekend or holidays will ship the next business day. During the Christmas holiday season, we ship on Saturday.
When can I expect my order to arrive? - It depends on the shipping method you chose at checkout. For the continental 48 states, First Class is typically a 3 to 7 day service; Priority Mail is typically a 1 to 3 day service; Parcel Select is typically a 3 to 10 day service; and FedEx Ground/Home Delivery and UPS Ground are typically a 1 to 5 day services.
Will you guarantee when my order will arrive? - We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date as we can only ship according to the ship method chosen during checkout. Once we generate a shipping label and pass the package to the shipping company, it is in their hands. Shipping methods are classified as either "Best Effort" or methods with a"Delivery Commitment." If you need an item by a particular date, we strongly encourage you to choose a ship method that includes a "Delivery Commitment".

What ship methods include a "Delivery Commitment"? - Ship methods such as Next Day or Second Day service from UPS and FedEx typically include a delivery commitment to deliver the package by the end of the first or second day, respectively, after the day it is shipped. Keep in mind that orders placed Monday-Friday before Noon CST will ship the same day; otherwise, the next business day. Please be aware neither FedEx nor UPS pickup or deliver on holidays.
What is a "Best Effort" ship method? - Ship methods such as First Class, Priority Mail, and UPS Ground are considered "Best Effort" because the shipping company typically makes their best effort to get the package to you as quickly as possible, but they make no guarantee to delivery by any particular date. Please know, unfortunately, this includes all forms of USPS Priority Mail. Although the Postal Service refers to Priority Mail as a 1 to 3 day service, there is no guarantee. And, it's worth mentioning that USPS Express Mail is a 1 to 2 day service. and while USPS Express Mail is 1 day service to many major cities, it is NOT a guaranteed delivery service.
Our experience has shown that USPS is very, very good at delivering the goods, and much more economical than UPS and FedEx when a delivery commitment is not required. It is always the buyer's choice and responsibility to select and know why they are selecting a particular shipping method.
